Introduction to the Properties of Zirconium Dioxide

2019-06-13

Zirconium Dioxide (molecular formula ZrO2) has the characteristics of hardness, solidity and inhomogeneity. The film sometimes needs to be dried to remove its absorption. The purity of the material is extremely important. Films with insufficient purity usually lack overall compactness. It benefits from the proper use of IAD to increase the refractive index to the porous value in order to overcome its inhomogeneity. At present, the purity of 99.99% basically solves the above problems. ZrO2 is used as a protective film for aluminium and silver films. The film (ZrO2) is obtained by 700eV argon ion assisted plating on room temperature substrates. Generally, it is white tablet or cuboid piece, and the vapor molecules are ZrO,O2.

Process characteristics:

ZrO2 granules, tablet or cuboid piece using tungsten or molybdenum boats. The amount of impurities discharged by granules is more than that of tablet or cuboid piece. When the vacuum degree is less than 2*10-5 Torr, the stable refractive index can be obtained by evaporation. When the vacuum degree is greater than 5*10-5 Torr, the refractive index of the film will decrease slightly. The inhomogeneity of ZrO2 material will occur when it is steamed continuously, that is, the refractive index decreases gradually with the increase of optical thickness at the beginning. The inhomogeneity of ZrO2 can be improved by adding oxygen at a certain pressure during evaporation.

In 2005, ATS began the production of Zirconium Dioxide materials, more than 10 years of professional production experience and technical precipitation, creating a solid quality. The Zirconium Dioxide products manufactured by ATS have a wide range of specifications and sizes, high quality and stability, and high output. They are sold to major domestic markets and overseas markets such as Southeast Asia, Europe and the United States, and are widely recognized by customers. Welcome customers to consult and order!
